The mission of the male water polo team of Olympiakos in Monte Negro finished with a failure. The white and red team played against team of Budva and in a game from the 5^th round of the second group thy lost by 9:11, which put the end to their hopes for a further qualification in the top eight of the Euro league. During the game with the opponent they did not show a particularly motivated game, but a rather weak and disoriented one. The victory in the game against Budva was the only chance for qualifying in a further stage of the Euro league. Unfortunately not even for a minute of the game they could convince anybody, not even themselves that their purpose in the game was actually a victory. In this way the white and red team said farewell to the strive for entering the top eight of Europe…

A good game was shown by Olympiakos only during the first eight minutes when the team managed to take the lead even though it was small. The attacks of the hosts were done easily as the defense of the guest was surprisingly weak. The easy by which Budva took the lead in the score surprised even the players of Olympiakos – former European champions.

The loss from the team of Budva is the fourth loss in a row of the white and red team. During their last game against the team of partisan in Piraeus they didn’t show a much greater image… They lost by 9:11 making a lot of mistakes due to no concentration and problems with the defense.
