Metal, hard rock, jazz, hip hop and ethnic during the hot summer nights

In the midst of the financial crisis, the Greeks will be able to escape the difficult routine with the help of music. The world famous stars who will sing on the Greek stage are numerous and eminent.

Ian Achbari and his band Cult will start the summer concerts in Fuzz Club on June 5 with the tracks Rain, Love Removal Machine, Sweet Salvation and many others.

The barefoot diva or the queen of ethnic music from Cape Verde Cesaria Evora will perform on June 6 at the outdoor theater Likavitos. Lura and the band will come on stage along with her. The American rock band Interpol and its "dark" rhythmic sound will perform for the first time for their Greek fans on the Entertainment Stage on June 7. The same day metalcore fans can enjoy August Burns Red from Pennsylvania in Guitaro, and rock music fans will have the chance to attend the next concert of the "holy" Marianne Faithfull in Greece.

The sound of violins, electronic puppet theater and art will conquer the stage in the musical project entitled Delusion, which will be performed by the representative of the electronic music Laurie Anderson on June 8.

On June 14 for the first time Athenians will hear live the old and new songs by Sublime W/Rome, which will change Technopolis with the sounds of ska, punk and reggae music.

The heavy metal fans day will be June 17, when the stage of TerraVibe Park within Sonisphere Festival will meet the representatives of this music style. Iron Maiden will make a unique show within its tour to mark the release of their 15th album, The Final Frontier. With them on stage will be "the gods of American metal Slipknot, which, according to the vocalist Corey Taylor want to make a very successful tour this year to stay together. Mastodon, the masters of progressive metal Gojira, who will perform songs from their four albums, and the Norwegians Virus will complement the metal day. Sonisphere will also present Rotting Christ, Moonspell, Nightfall, Need and Total Riot.

The American hip hop band House of Pain, which broke up in 1996, but joined again thanks to Danny Boy, will be presented in TerraVibe Park on June 21 within the framework of its global tour to perform its old hit Jump Around, and not only.
 
The meeting of Clutch, the rock band of Nick Falon, which has existed since 1990, with their fans, is in the Gagarin 205 Club the same day. The band will remind fans how to play heavy metal, hardcore punk and hard rock.

Tiger Lillies, who visit Greece every time they have a new show, will play on June 22. This year the London avant-garde band will present ther super successful Freakshow for those who failed to see it in 2009 or would like to see it a second time. According to Martin Sachs, the show is about the ugliness and beauty, the sensitivity and firmness of this marginal freak universe.

Amy Winehouse is the headliner of this year's Eject Festival, which will be held on June 22. The eccentric singer, despite her problems with alcohol and drugs and her younger age, is often compared to mythical performers as Billie Holiday. She will present to the Greek audience songs from her successful album Back to Black, which combines soul, jazz, rock and roll and R&B.

Lift Me Up and not only will cry Moby in the face of his favourite Greek audience, who will also participate in Eject Festival with Vaccines and then will go to a concert in Thessaloniki.

July is the month of Prodigy. They will participate in Rock-wave Festival, which will be held in TerraVibe Park on July 1 – 3. The band will play on July 3, along with Gogol Bordello, Kyuss, Monster Magnet and the Marky Ramones Blitzkrieg project. The concerts of Flogging Molly, Therapy, Viza and Dept will be the same day. The stage in TerraVibe Park will meet the English Editors, the eccentric Cake from Sacramento, Stranglers and duo Inspector Cluzo on July 1.
 
In order to make the most successful metal album of their 40-year-long career Judas Priest will no longer go on tours. Therefore, Epitaph Tour, which brings them in Athens, could be their last tour. They will play along with White Snake.

Nick Cave and his band Grinderman will have two concerts - in Moni Lazariston in Thessaloniki on July 5 and in TerraVibe Park in Athens on July 6.

The most impressive performance will offer Roger Waters within the world tour, The Wall Live, on July 8, 9 and 12.

On July 20, the girls will have crush on Bon Jovi, who will sing: "You are born to be my wife." On July 25, WASP will enrage the crowd with its unique hard rock concerts. A day later, Thessaloniki will have the chance to meet Duran Duran but it is not clear yet whether the band will include Athens in its tour.
