Celebrity mystery of summer 2010 turns on the question “Who Michalis Hatzigiannis wants to marry?” It all started after the publication of an interview with the musician, in which he said he is ready to be bound by the shackles of marriage and even would like to have children.  “I'm so much in love. Now when I calmed down, I start to think more seriously about marriage. I am close to that decision and I feel that this moment is coming,” said the handsome guy of the Greek pop scene. This deeply personal recognition was published in the Greek magazine VetoMag and caused an avalanche of reactions and questions in the Greek journalists and fans of Hatzigiannis.

He refused to disclose the name of his new beloved and because of this different media have begun to publish the most interesting suggestions for the possible candidate brides. First, the internet portal for celebrity news gossip-tv reported that a third person has intervened in the relationship of Michalis Hatzigiannis and his longtime girl-friend and a singer too – Despoina Olumpiou, but this is not in favor of Despoina.  

Most curious is the fact that this statement came shortly after his breakup with her. They seemed inseparable for years, but Michalis refused to talk about future plans in his personal life in public speeches, although every time he was bombarded by questions about when he will marry, how many children he and Despoina will have and other peculiar details about their relationship. The Greek TV Star hinted in one of its reports that the most likely fatal lady who broke the long-term relationship of the desired across the whole of Greece single is Elizabet Spanou. But it turned out just gossip, or short-lived flirt, because almost at the same time,  various sources reported that Hatzigiannis has been spotted at various locations in the company of the rising young actress Thaleia Prokopiou.

And if rumors of a love triangle have been speculative, the clash of professional interests of Hatzigiannis and Olumpiou perhaps is a more likely reason for their separation. This conclusion is based on the statement of the Greek singer in another interview published in early June in the lifestyle portal yupi.gr: “I think people with the same ambitions, weaknesses and passions can not coexist,” he admits.

Whatever the truth, folk wisdom says: “Love, money, and cough could not hide!” So, sooner or later we will understand who is the mystic woman that took the mind of one of the favorites of the Greek music. Certainly we can say that the talented Michalis likes long-haired brunettes with deep eyes, sensual and elegant silhouette, which love to be on the stage.
