With Bengal fires and cheering the fans of the greens welcomed at the airport the new player of Panathinaikos Govu Sydney. The French star landed on Greek land in 23.00 o’clock. But his arrival was attended by Vice President of the club Dimitris Gondikas, and the director Fanis Vutsaras.

Govu came out from the side entrance accompanied by police. Later, he said to fans and journalists he feels lucky to play in European club such as Panathinaikos. But Govu also has a dark side to his character. The player is well-known for  his weakness for the "sweet life". Alcohol, nightlife and fast cars are his favorite activities. In his biography the Frenchman has a loud scandal with a minor prostitute in Paris. A few months ago he was arrested by the police for drinking and driving a car. As a result, Govu remains without a driver's license for several months he has been going around in a taxi.

The Frenchman has 412 appearances and 77 goals, but outside the field he doesn’t even want to hear about football. Some even accused him that he has some inconclusive knowledge in the sport. The star dreams of playing at Manchester United.
