On Friday night the deadline for giving offers for Olympic was over and according to primary information their number exceeds 15. The names of the candidate buyers will be announced either tomorrow or on Wednesday after the Greek parliament voted for the company’s reform. According to the plan approved by the European Commission, Olympic id divided into three companies – the flying operations, the land customer service and the technical support, which will be sold separately. The Greek media claims that the offers for purchasing all three companies are not many and most of the candidates are interested in only one of the three.

The interesting thing is that among the ones interested are not the competitor Aegean Airlines and the German Lufthansa. Among the candidates for the flying operations are Arab companies like Qatar Airlines, European and American, which are not named for now. Goldair and Swissport are candidates for the land customer service.

Meanwhile, the flying operations company “Panteon,” which is going to inherit Olympic is ready to fly because on Friday it received an approval from the Greek National air force. For trade reasons and needs, “Panteon” will keep Olympic’s logo.
