James Blunt does not have good memories from Greece. First he went to Thessaloniki as a soldier in Kosovo but the Greeks were arrogant to him. After that he came to Athens to sing but the mayor closed the theatre at the last moment and the concert did not take place. Despite everything James Blunt is a soldier who does not give up easily, so the news came that on March 7th he will sing in the former Olympic tai-kwon-do center. The author of “You are beautiful” is happy to have many fans in Greece and decided to forgive the bad attitude of Thessalonians and the bad Athens mayor.

James Blunt will have his concert in Athens and the tickets will be out from Monday, February 9th at www.i-ticket.gr and www.ticketguest.gr. If you buy your tickets beforehand, they will cost you 45? on the field, and standing, and 55? for sitting seat.  The prices will increase a little bit on the day of the concert - 50? for standing and 60? for seats.

James Blunt established himself as a ballade singer with most albums sold in the world with his first album “Back to Bedlam,” which became the most sold album on the British market for the 21st century. In Greece, Blunt’s sales can be compared only to those of Madonna. I have many Greek friends from school and besides that I have served 2 years in the British base in Cyprus,” remembers the performer, who never hid his love for the Greek culture.
