Out of Control, Right on Time and Is Our Night are the three nominations for a Greek song on this year’s competition Eurovision. The singer of all three songs is the famous and loved Sakis Rouvas. Composer of the music is Dimitris Kondopoulos, the lyrics are by Alexandra Zaka, Greg Porteyls, and Cameron Gils-Web. You can hear the songs here:

The songs were presented around lunch in Hilton hotel and also the presentation could have been seen live on the national Greek TV’s website – www.ert.gr. The final vote will be on Wednesday, February 18^th. According to the results from the draw, Greece will compete in the second semifinal in Moscow on May 14^th, together with Slovenia, Denmark, Azerbaijan, Holland, Latvia, Serbia, Norway, Ukraine, Lithuania, Poland, Croatia, Estonia, Moldova, Cyprus, Ireland, Slovakia, and Albania.

This will be Sakis’ second participation in the Eurovision competition. During 2003 he won third place with his song “Shake It.” Then and also now, his choreographer is Fokas Evangelinos, who worked on the choreography of last year’s winner Dima Belan.
