Two Bulgarians died tragically today. They were travelling in their personal car, which was dragged and thrown on a car repair store, because of a sudden storm. The incident happened near to the Nea Manolada village on Peloponnese.

Except for the two deceased, the third passenger in the car – woman from Bulgarian origin, was severely injured. She was driven to the nearest medical center. Her condition is critical and the doctors are fighting to save her life.

According to primary information, the car was travelling on the old highway from Patra to Pirgi and it was hit by the storm between the villages Nea Manolada and Varda. The storm eradicated threes, electricity posts and it had dragged many cars. As a result, the region looks as if it was bombed. The windows of many stores and houses are broken and the covers of many greenhouses are blown away. Before the destroying storm, there was hale.

A little before the storm started, in Varda there was a student celebrating procession. The mayor of Nea Manolada Andonis Seretis said: “It is good that the parade had finished and all children have gone home.” Because of the storm, the region is left without electricity.
