The first online beauty contest begun! Girls from all over Greece will participate in this first official beauty contest “Miss Internet Greece 2009.” Every woman, who wants to participate needs to upload a picture of herself on the website if the contest, create a profile and from then on – patience, because the results will be announced during November.  Over 300 beauties have applied, four months after the beginning of the competition and the deadline is still not here.

The jury, which will choose the winner “Miss Internet Greece 2009,” consists of businessmen from the fashion industry like the owner of the “Models Academy” Georgios Koutoulyas and the businessman Panos Zinas, who works in women’s fashion. The rest 11 winners will be chosen from internet users, according to the number of votes they received.

The final winners will be announced in November but until then, there are many parties and events planned, which will be organized in Athens, Myconos, and in other cities around the country.

The awards for the winners are very tempting! “Miss Internet Greece 2009” will represent Greece on the World Beauty Contest, which will be organized abroad. The winner will also receive a scholarship and a contract for ?2 200. Also she will get her own website on the internet, as well as a professional photo album, all valued to be ?2 000. As another reward, she will receive clothes for another ?1 000.
