The expected news that the captain of the Iraklis volleyball team, Plamen Konstantinov will leave the team was announced by DeltaNews. The Thessaloniki team, in which Plamen has been playing for two seasons, went through some hardships. The only trophy, which Iraklis won, was the Greek Super Cup in September.

For DeltaNEws, Plamen commented: “ I am done with Iraklis. For me, it was a horrifying season and only the final of the of the Champions League prevented the total collapse in the middle of last year. I have many choices right now but I am not in a hurry to make a decision. The pain in my shoulder is going away. The problem is not serious and I will not need to go under surgery. I will rest for few days and after that I will slowly and carefully start my training,” added Plamen.
