The new owner of Olympic Airlines made their own customer survey but not about the elections but about the new uniforms of the flight attendants and pilots.

The different designs are posted on the website http://www.oafashion.gr and the voting will continue until June 7th. One hundredth people will be chosen from all voters and they will win airplane tickets for destinations in Greece and abroad.

Alexandra Sigala, representative of MIG – the new owner of Olympic, announced for ALPHA TV the final designs, which were picked by a special commission of three designers and some designer teams. The famous Silia Kritarioti participated in the uniform project, which bets on the simple design with the logo of the company on the lapel. The second design is by “p2 Group” and is brings a spring mood, which can mostly be felt from the women’s uniforms – the shirts are white with spots on them and have the logo of the company. The third design is by the private school AKTO and is based on the classic blue color with simple lines. The famous circles of the company appear on one shoulder on the shirts and on the skirts, they are on the waist.

With the help of the people, who will vote, the company will decide which designer will sign his/her name on the stamp of the Olympic Airlines clothes. Participating in the competition were 97 famous and not so famous designers, which were screened by a special commission, in order to choose the final three offers.

“When we were choosing the clothes we were looking for the aesthetics of the uniforms. The level of the participants was very high but we had to eliminate some, just because they were not comfortable to use. We are talking about a profession, which requires flexibility, so for example a tight sleeve can prevent a flight attendant of closing the luggage department above the seat,” noted Mrs. Sigala. And finally, the name of the winner will be announced on June 8th. Until then – vote!
