Athens is warming up with the Scorpions, Michael Bolton and Carlos Santana

Few long awaited concerts will take place in the Greek capital in the following days. Today the stage will explode by the guitars of the legendary Scorpions, tomorrow Michael Bolton will make the hearts of his fans beat faster and on Wednesday Carlos Santana will finish us off with his eternal hits.


The Scorpions concert will take place today on Karaiskaki stadium. Doors will open at 06:00PM and the famous Greek Vasilis Papakonstantinou and SPITFIRE will warm up the public for the show of the rockers. The Scorpions will get on stage at 10:15PM and present will be all members, including Uli Jon Roth, Michael Schenker and Herman Rarevell. The show is supposed to be spectacular, because there will be four guitar players and two drummers and the band will perform its longest repertoire – two hours and a half!


Ticket sale is still going on and the price is ?35. Seats are ?45 and VIP are ?70 but they are both sold out. Except for Athens, the Scorpions will also perform on July 8 in Hania, on Crete and on July 24 in Xanti.


Tomorrow, the most romantic singer Michael Bolton will appear for the first time on Greek stage, in order to enchant his fans in Petra theatre in Petroupoli neighborhood. His program includes To love somebody, When a man loves a woman, How am I supposed to live without you?, All for love, Said I love you but I lied, and some of his new remakes as well – Fly me to the moon, I’ve got you under my skin, My funny Valentine, which are part of the album Bolton swings Sinatra. Ticket prices start from ?45, seats are ?60 and VIP - ?180.


If you cannot manage to make to the Monday and Tuesday concerts, you can go and Wednesday to the Olympic Stadium, where Carlos Santana will perform with his ten member band. The name of the tour is Supernatural Santana – A trip through the hits and it really should not be missed. Santana is a holder of ten Grammy awards, three Latin Grammy’s, and 90 million CDs of his are sold until the moment and more than 100 million people have been present to his concerts. This is only a laconic description of the phenomenon “Carlos Santana” – the person, who left his imprint in rock music, giving it a Latin rhythm with his famous solo guitar performances.


The legendary Mexican will make a performance made out of tight rock sounds, Latin-American and Cuban music, which will be dedicated to his rich 40 year career on stage, by starting from Jingo (1969) and his first successful hit Evil ways (1970) and reaches to his last hit The night (2008). Doors of the Olympic Stadium in Athens will open at 07:00PM and ticket prices are ?50, ?70, ?120 and ?200.
