Elena Nikolova

Number one this week in GRR HOT 15 is Pitbull with I know you want me. The rapper is keeping his position from last week by continuing to win over our hearts. Earlier this week there was a misunderstanding distributed throughout the media about Armando Perez (Pitbull). Allhiphop.com said that the rapper appeared in court on DUI charges. Yesterday Pitbull came out with a statement saying that he wants to set things straight – “I’ve chosen to take this case to trial to make sure justice is served.” Evidently, the rapper was pulled off on December 27, 2007, while driving drunk. His lawyers claim that he was “erroneously” arrested that night. The verdict was supposed to be out later last night but information is still missing.

Nevena, Marius Moga and NiVo secretly climbed up with one position and landed on number two with their song Zoom. Success is coming for the singers since their song was aired on MTV. This is only the first step but I wish them all the luck!

And yes, this week Grafa and Akaga made it to the TOP 3 of GRR HOT 15! This unique Bulgarian hit is beating the competition and is proving that it is no less than the others. I hope that our readers abroad will recognize this song.

Bad news for Pussycat Dolls and their song Hush Hush. This week they fell with two positions and now are on number four. Still not bad position but they are left behind the leaders. Who knows, they might gain strength again and go up..

Despina Vandi entered the TOP 5 and it seems she is aiming for the top as well. Iparhi Zoi climbed up with two positions this week, so now the TOP 5 is on fire. Many candidates for the leading position, so let us see who will finally get it.

On the other hand Elena Paparizou left the TOP 5 and is not on number six. This week Tha ‘Mai Allios fell with one position and it seems that we will not see it among the leaders again. But then of course, the music scene is so unpredictable that you never know.

The hottest DJ Richard Durand jumped up with four positions. The tune of Always the sun shook all local clubs and is taking over our minds. Energetic, fun and summer-y this hit is aiming straight for the top!

Unfortunately Vanessa Adamopoulou kept her position from last week. Ena lepto is a great song but I guess it does not match our summer mood because she has been moving up very slowly.  The landscape is not so good for Black Eyed Peas as well. Boom Boom Pow fell with 3 positions and landed on number nine.

Elefteria Arvanitaki is dancing through the positions with her rhythmic song Dev milo gia mia nihta ego. This week she climbed up with three positions and landed on number 10. I hope to see her among the leaders because her song adds something different to the summer feeling…happiness, melancholy, funniness, curiosity..
