The conclusion, however, is not that one should abandon his talents and abilities. He must use them as a base, as a foundation, on which to develop new capabilities that are "required" by the North Node. Too often there are circumstances and conditions in life that are just forcing us to emerge from the convenience of the South node, but without losing those talents and abilities. The homes where the Lunar nodes are located indicate where in life one is most often confronted with frustration, some coercion and chaos. These are the most dynamic areas in life. 

Nodal axis is always a connection between two opposing areas of the horoscope, respectively, human life - the nodes are exactly opposite to each other. They show both ends of the same process - life. Everything has a beginning and an end. Between them - the beginning and the end - is life itself. Interpretation of individual horoscope is not complicated, but is not as simple as it seems at first glance. We have 12 zodiacal signs and 12 houses in the horoscope. This provides 144 types of major interpretations. 

Regarding the interpretation I will mention a few basic rules. I would prefer not to give the standards in homes and signs, as each house in the horoscope, except for its main meaning, have another 12. For example, the 10^th house in the horoscope has the main meaning as follows: reputation, accomplishments, profession, career, what makes us visible to society. But each house in a horoscope has derived meanings. Therefore, the 10^th house is: 

Tenth counted from the first house 
Ninth counted from the second house 
Eighth counted from the third house 
Seventh counted from the fourth house, etc.  

This means that if you have North Node in tenth house, in terms of your personal resources (second house in the horoscope), this node will be in the ninth house. Accordingly, the South Node will be in the third house. And I believe even the most general description of the lunar nodes as meanings, should include them. Such a description is difficult to be given in a brief article. So I will offer you five basic rules that I believe will be much more useful: 

When the North Node in houses 7, 11, 3 and South Node is in houses 1, 5, 9: the challenges are in terms of social development, relations with others. Personal power, will and initiative are challenged to be directed to the benefit of others, of social groups. 

When the North Node in houses 8, 4, 12 and South Node is in houses 2, 10, 6: the challenges are in achieving the internal emotional and spiritual comfort aiming the development of an internal self-identifying stability. Ability to achieve physical stability and practicality are not directed to personal use but for the benefit of others. 

When the North Node in houses 1, 5, 9 and South Node is in houses 7, 11, 3: the challenges are in terms personal opening to the world and manifestation of the creation, "I am". Social contact challenge people to focus on the development of personal faith, strength and creative abilities. 

When the North Node in houses 2, 6, 10 and South Node is in houses 8, 12, 4: the challenges are in terms of practicality in life, to do some specific work, to dive into purely material aspects of life. Internal stability and ability to support others points to building your own personal resources, to find "price." 

Whenever Lunar nodes are positioned in angular houses in the horoscope (1, 4, 7, 10) the life of this person has an additional challenge to find the right balance in the male-female nature. Men face some weakness in the expression of their masculinity and women in turn of their femininity. 

Lunar nodes are moving in the direction opposite to the movement of all the planets. This irregularity has its importance. In the next article I will continue with the cycle of lunar nodes, which has very special meaning in life. Because only up to a certain point in life, people reveal their abilities and talents as defined by the South Node. And they are headed to applying them in areas defined by the North node.
