It is almost certian that, the attacker from Congo, Lomana Tresor Lua Lua will play again for the football team. It was expected that he will sign the contract with Olympiacos, however instead of him on the meeting came his manager. In a positive atmosphere the two sides – Ioannis Chrysikopoulos and the manager of Lua Lua discussed terms of the contract and decided the data of its signing to be Thursday December 31st.
Even though in the moment Lua Lua can not proud himself of being in good physical condition, from Olympiacos are hoping, that the practices will help the player get back in good shape and by the end of February he will be in serious support for the team. Lua Lua is expected to strengthen the left wing and the front line. It is expected the preliminary contract to be for 6 months, and after its expiration if the player shows good results the contract to be renewed for another 2 years.
The player does not need a period of adaptation, which every new player is having as he has already played for the team. In august 2007 Lua Lua was bought by Olympiacos for the price of 4 100 000 euro with a three years contract. During this period he played 30 games and scored 6 goals, the first two of them were the Super league game against the team from Crete – OFI. Lua Lua also contributes for the historical win of Olympiacos against Panatinaikos with 4:0 in January 2008.
Tresor Lomana Lua Lua will be the first player bought by the team in January 2010. This will be the beginning of one strengthening period for the team. Besides him Olympiacos is also interested in the purchase of Ben Arfa – a matter that is expected to be resolved during the first days of 2010. Another very significant name in the football whom the team wants to purchase is Frederico Mansini. The Brazilian is famous for his dribble is currently playing for Inter-Milan.
If Olympiacos succeed in purchasing one of the two players it will have a great success and will start the New Year with great hopes.
