One dead and one seriously injured is the result of an accident between two prisoners (probably Greeks) that happened early today in a cell in Domokos prison.
According to sources, a prisoner had attacked his cellmates with a makeshift knife, injuring one of them fatally and the other one seriously in the abdomen.
The guards immediately intervened and rendered harmless the perpetrator whereas the injured man was taken to the hospital in the city of Lamia.
Local media report that the accident has caused a commotion in the prison and that the police are on the spot.
The motives of the detainee who attacked his cellmates are not yet clear.
