The hosts of EuroVoice 2010, which will be held in Athens between 23rd and 24th September rely entirely on the powers of the tempting beauty and courageous life guard Pamela Anderson. A day before the beginning of the international song contest, at a press conference the Greek sponsors announced that the star Sakis Rouvas will not participate in the event. The news surprised everyone, including Pamela herself. The beauty tried to "heroically" respond by saying with a smile: "I will take care of everything then... It happens... "

Her dissatisfaction with the unpleasant surprise, however, could be seen. The most sexy woman in the world still promised to "roll her sleeves up" and help the young talents to shine on stage... in her presence. And about Sakis Rouvas himself? As the organizers announced the singer has done everything in his power to participate in EuroVoice 2010, but for reasons that never became clear he was forced to forfeit. So far nobody is able to answer the question what will happen with the tickets which the fans of the star bought ...

It is clear that the Greek capital, which hosts the first competition EuroVoice 2010 fought until the last minute with problems. In the last moment the contest was moved from the Olympic Stadium to the far more modest stage of the nightclub Arena in Athens. Despite the confusion, however, the organizers ensure that the show, which spectators will see will be unique. The super stars of the world music Enrique Iglesias and Anastacia will also contribute for this.

In the annual music competition are taking part young artists wishing to show their talent. The candidates come from Europe, Turkey and Israel. Besides being a music competition the event is also a platform for contacts and a way for the young talents to promote their music. Singers can upload their songs on the web page of EuroVoice and share them with thousands of listeners. Their personal profile available on the site www.eurovoice.tv allows the public to be informed of the backgrounds and songs, and also to look through a photo gallery of the performers. The voting will be done through sms or through the web page of the contest itself. The winner of EuroVoice will win 100 thousand euros and will sign a contract with an international sound recording company.

This year more than 600 thousand fans supported their favorite songs during the finals voting. On May 26 they chose between the songs of 420 singers from 39 countries. The 29 countries with highest number of votes qualified for the finals in Athens. Bulgaria will be presented by Boriana Hristova with her song A pain, and Greece by George Tadzerakis with Ti parapano.
