Although the weather was not on their side and the rain made their game more difficult, the green team was able to ensure their first place in the football rankings. With a 3:0 victory against the team of Levadiakos in the 25-match round of Europa League, the team of Panathinaikos again managed to warm the hearts of its fans. The weather was cold, bleak and uninviting, but despite all the situation on the field was hot ...

The first half of the match was a struggle for the hosts to find a rhythm and score a goal in the door of Levadiakos. Unfortunately, until the end of halftime they did not succeed to score. Even though they had good opportunities, they did not have execute them right. Their game was often chaotic and nervous, and the end of halftime a negative factor proved to be the fatigue. The guests also had a hard time with the attacks and generally showed a very weak game. And so the first half ended with the result 0:0.

The second half was totally different and finally brought joy to the fans and the players themselves. They came out on the field highly motivated and quickly managed to find a rhythm, which they missed during the first half. With their dynamic game the green team literally bombarded the door of the guests. They had goal attempts during the 10th, 13th, 16th and 17th minutes. The 18th minute was the time when the green team scored their first goal, excellently executed by Salpingidis. Dynamic and with zeal for 10 minutes Panathinaikos soared above the guest team and scored two other consecutive goals.

Thus, in the 26th minute Sebastian Leto scored the second goal of the match and only two minutes later Cisse attacked. After scoring in Blazich’s door Cisse did not fail to face the fans at the stadium and salute them in his usual manner, thereby causing a wave of cheering ...
