The fact that the former Prime Minister has been delivering lectures on the state of the Greek economy and the resolving of the crisis has caused negative and often derisive comments in social media. According to the leader of Independent Greeks Panos Kamenos , "instead of delivering lectures abroad, George Papandreou should be arrested along with his close associates," for they have done everything possible "to put Greece under the control of foreign powers."
