In Corinth a small group of citizens chanted slogans against the memorandum and after the end of the parade, immediately following the withdrawal of officials, a large group of citizens from the "Initiative of the citizens from the Corinthia area" and teachers marched in silence with a huge banner that read: "RESIST".
Five people were detained preventively in Alexandroupoli, while people booed politicians during the parade. The presence of representatives of political circles was limited, and police measures - enhanced.
The parade in Trikala took place calmly and without any incidents. There was no podium for the officials, the MPs from the region and there tight security measures were taken. Of course, iron fences were placed around the officials. After the intervention of the riot control police forces, members of the movement "I do not pay" were not allowed in the central part of the parade.
