The most dynamic live music performance will take place on September 5 at the usual spot - "Technopolis". The street party music will attract some of the best dancers and breakers, who will shake the stage and entertain the audience.
Battle of Athens '09 is a competition for best dancer in this genre. The eight best Greek groups will compete and the jury consists of three of the most famous dancers worldwide. Each choreography will take eight minutes and at the beginning the eight groups will measure their music inspirations in the first round. Following is a semi-final, where the four best groups will perform and on the finals, for whole 12 minutes the finalists will give everything they have for the award.
This is the most impressive break dance show in the world, for which all participants prepare for months and they are so good that they can compete with some of the best break dancers worldwide.
During the concert part of the festival, the stage will host Artemis-Evtimis, with their dynamic sounds and stereo lyrics, Northern Stars from Thessaloniki, the rapper Nihilist, the former and present ZN (The living dead), Taki Chan, Word of Mouth with the incredible Sugahspank!, the ready for war Warriorz, The new order of things and the all known DJ The Boy together with the crazy guys DJ Royal K. All of them will contribute for the fiery atmosphere of the coolest hip-hop party in Athens and will play nonstop for seven hours.
