While the Greek media paid little attention to the participation of George Alkeos in the Eurovision, as he himself does not create too much noise about it, the bets on the Internet for this year's song contest launch in the first position the song „Opa”, which will present Greece.

This year the eyes of the European media, which cover the 55^th Contest Eurovision, which will be held in few days in Oslo, are focused on Georgious Alkeos. Journalists bombarded him with questions about the situation in the country and after the tragedy during the protest in Athens on May 5 Alkeos decided to discontinue his tour and give interviews on Skype and email.

To the contest we are going as "Alkeos and friends", because as Greeks we attach great importance to friendship", shared his views on the competition Alkeos.

For the competition itself, the Greek singer said that the stage was made using the latest technology, but did not forget to note that the Greek organization of the Eurovision so far was the best. He seems sure of himself and his team by saying they are more than ready for the challenge, although they have changed the composition and parts of the choreography as well as the fact that they will come out on the stage screaming "Opa".
