The arrival of a student from Togo with a fever caused panic and emergency measures were taken in the hospital in Famagusta.

According to the Northern Cyprus publication ''Havantis'' immediately after the 26-year-old student was taken to hospital, doctors decided to move him immediately to the hospital in the occupied part of Nicosia. The patient was admitted there after the imposition of strict quarantine measures. According to the director of the hospital, Ramadan Kamiloglu, the young man is being treated as a possible carrier of the Ebola virus, therefore he has been isolated in a special room.
