A 23 year old man died in the Onassis cardiologic hospital. Two days ago it was announced that the man was infected with the new virus. The official statement from the hospital explains that the patient was suffering from a severe chronic cardio-vessel illness and it was the main cause for his death and the swine flu only quickened the tragic outcome. The man was suffering from the Coffin-Cohen syndrome and was admitted in the hospital with severely damaged lungs, which collapsed by the H1N1 infection. In the early Sunday hours his heart gave out.

The condition of the other man, who is working for the army and was admitted in the Army hospital in Athens on Friday, is still critical. The 28 year old man tested positive for the new virus and he is being treated in the ER of the hospital.

The Greek Ministry of Health announced another severe case of swine flu - an Indian citizen. He is a crew member on luxury cruise Silver Wind, which is sailing under the flag of the Bahamas and which arrived in Pieria port on Friday. The condition of the 36 year old man is stable and he will not be hospitalized and he was assigned to take some medications while being quarantined in his cabin. The cruise arrived from Santorini and it has 293 passengers on board and a crew of 220 people.
