SYRIZA expels a German journalist pressing Tsipras with awkward questions

According to the article, three hours after the interview, Alexis Tsipras’ associate Danae Badoyianni called Martens and demanded to know the names of the Greek journalists he had met that day as well as the sources he had used while preparing his questions.

"SYRIZA called some Greek colleagues and asked them whether they had spoken to "the German". After I said several times that I had not met with a well-known journalist of Kathimerini newspaper, Badoyianni started asking again if I was sure that I had not spoken to someone from Kathimerini that day," states Martens.

He ends his article with a question. "If Alexis Tsipras and those around him call "immoral" a journalist who faces them with their own statements, isn’t this more indicative of the civility of their political dialogue rather than of the civility of the person who only points out their words?"
