A piece of research carried out by experts from CareerCast, an international company operating in the field of career consulting, shows that there are also well-paid jobs that do not require a university degree. In all cases, the employees must have completed an educational level and specialization.
The research included 200 occupations that were compared with data from government agencies, professional associations and other similar sources. The result is the following list of the 10 most high paying professions that do not require a university degree.
Telecommunications technician
Nowadays, everything passes through telecommunication cables, antennas and installations that require continuous and careful support around the clock. The specialists in this area are trained at secondary schools and technical schools.
Aircraft mechanic
Aircraft parks are steadily growing and it is expected that the number of people who use air transport will increase by 35% over the coming years. That means more aeroplanes that will need maintenance and more technicians with higher pay. The training in this area takes place at secondary schools and colleges.
Respiratory therapist
This profession is not particularly popular in our part of the world and is equivalent to the work of a physiotherapist, but in terms of respiratory diseases. The professionals show patients different exercises that toughen the respiratory muscles and improve secreting. Such specialists are in particular demand in the United States.
Specialized technicians
Plumbers, electricians, automotive, motorcycle and boat mechanics, refrigeration technicians, heating technicians, etc. are the people who maintain and repair our homes and vehicles. Their training takes place at secondary schools.
