We have seen an escalation of violence in recent days. Last week, there was shooting at the headquarters of New Democracy, there had been explosions of gas cylinders in front of the houses of journalists some days earlier. What are the reasons?
"In the last ten days, 21 attacks have been recorded. It seems that a large and nearly uncontrollable cycle of violence is being initiated. All that remains to be seen is which organisations will assume the responsibility, but this does not necessarily mean that they are alone. There are others, which are now extinct.
I think there are many young people who are a step away from being attracted to terrorist organisations. Terrorism is here, it has never ceased to exist.
I would like to point out that Greece is the only Member State of the European Union where there are active terrorist groups even today. This means that Greece has failed to deal with this phenomenon in a determined and professional manner. On the contrary, the actions of the authorities that protect public safety can be defined as superficial and amateur both in the past and right now. "
