New investments
At the same time, a large hotel company plans new investments in the southwestern Peloponnese, near Kalamata. The project of "Grace Hotels Group" provides for the construction of a hotel with a capacity of 125 luxury rooms and suites and 40 villas with 3, 4 and 5 rooms that will be available for sale. The area where they will be built is owned by the company and is located about 20 km west of Kalamata and 13 km away from the airport. It is expected that the hotel will become operational in 2017. It will be called "Grace Kalamata" and will have different rooms for work and leisure such as conference rooms, a spa centre and more. The "Grace Hotels Group" is a member of the "Libra Group", which belongs to the Logothetis family and owns two hotels on the island of Mykonos and Santorini. The group is also planning the construction of another hotel on the island of Kea.
