The U2 concert ticket sale starts on November 2 at 10:00AM at the Olympic Stadium in Athens. The concert is on September 3, 2010. The prices vary between €33 and €330, depending on the seats.
For those of you, who have signed up in U2’s official fan club website, the ticket pre-sale will start on Thursday October 29 at 10:00AM and will end on October 21 at 12:00PM.
During the first days of the pre0sale, tickets can be purchased only at the Olympic Stadium – entrance A, from Spiros Louis Street. Box offices will be open between 10:00Am and 08:00PM. From Saturday, November 7 tickets will be available in Ticket House – 42 Panapestimiou Street. The working hours of those box offices is: Monday and Wednesday: 10:30AM-06:30PM, Tuesday-Thursday-Friday: 10:30AM-09:00PM and Saturday: 10:30AM-04:00PM.
Tickets will be available in Thessaloniki from November 2 in Ticket House on 102 Mitropoleos Street. Tickets will also be available online on TicketPro’s website. Tickets for the arena will cost €65 cash and €71.50 if purchased with a credit card and the seats start from €33 and reach to €330.
U2 will give the opportunity to millions of fans to watch their concert on Sunday in Rose Bowl in LA, live on YouTube. The tickets for this concert as already sold out. At least 96 000 people will be present at Rose Bowl and hundredths of thousands will be watching the concert in YouTube. The concert will air live in 16 countries and it will be the first one aired live on YouTube.
This is the first time that the famous band is trying out live streaming. In 1997 they let MSN air their concert in Boston live.
