Lonely Planet- one of the top tourist guides- selected through brainstorming among its editors and travelers the top 10 of interesting countries that it recommends for you to visit in 2010.
The third position in the chart belongs to Greece- after El Salvador and Germany. The country offers variety of activities for everybody- you can take a walk in the ancient ruins or bask in the sunlight at one of the idyllic beaches, or party until early in the morning in a trendy club.

Following in the chart are Malaysia, Morocco, Nepal, New Zealand, Portugal, Surinam and USA.
Besides being among the first 10 world top destinations, Thessaloniki was ranked by Lonely Planet third in the world among cities in which you would have the most fun. The first position was for Belgrade for its nightlife and the little boats in the Danube. Next are Montreal, Buenos Aires, Dubai, Las Pas, Oakland and Tel Aviv. “Thessaloniki is proud of its nightlife, the Byzantium churches and the museums,” says the latest edition of the well-known guide.
