With score of 75-65 for the greens ended the game, part of the play-offs phase, between basketball teams Panathinaikos and Panelinios. The victory of the match ranked the greens for the championship finals, where they will meet their biggest opponent, the team of Olympiakos.

Despite the final result Panathinaikos did not start the game promising. It allowed the attacks of Panelinios, which did not hesitate to start the race on the court. So even if they were not at home, the guests quickly managed to gain advantage. When the result reached 9-13, after Smith scored point after point, the coach of the greens requested time out. The game that followed after the greens came back on the court was more efficient. They found their rhythm and reached and passed the guests in the result. Guests, however, continued to attack the basket of the greens. Points by Haralampidis led the result to 18-17. Followed was tension on the court and minutes, which lasted forever. The teams went hand in hand in the score. The game of the greens became nervous. Tension escalated further when a Vuyukas scored, which brought the result to 19-18 for Panelinios... During the 15th minute the score reached the critical 22-22. The next series was unsuccessful for the team of Panathinaikos, which lagged behind in the result with 5 points. Shortly before the end of the first half, Nicholas managed to narrow the gap to 31-32.

The second half brought positive changes to the green team. Players were in better psychological condition and pursued points with more zeal. In a dynamic game after triple points by Spanoulis and Fotsis they managed to gain the desired lead. Their joy, however, did not last long. Panelinios continued to be extremely active this evening. After points scored by Papamakarios, the result reached 41-40... It turned out that the teams will again go hand in hand and the meeting will be a long and tense derby. New attacks followed by the green team and by the guests. Thus, during the 30th minute the score difference was again "stuck" on 1 point (53-52)...

Yasikievitsius was the one who pulled the team out of the vicious circle. With a 3 point basket, he managed to lead Panathinaikos and so in the 33rd minute the hosts took the lead with 62-56. New 3 point basket by Baptiste helped to greens to take the lead from Panelinios with 11 points.
