Hello dear readers! What is going on with this weather? I don’t know from where you will be reading this and what is the weather there but here in Greece is spring. Birds singing, clear blue skies and the temperature is around 20˚C. Nice...on one hand I wish it was spring but then again, Christmas is coming so this weather better get the hint! Anyway, I will stop playing “your local meteorologist” and I will get back to what you came here to read – what is going on in this week’s GRR HOT 15!

And so as expected Lady Gaga conquered the number one position once again but this time with her song Bad Romance. The naughty girl, as she calls herself, cannot stop making new hits and we have reached the point where we have to create a Gaga chart! Yes, two news songs came out and I guess they are heading for GRR HOT 15 soon! So stay put...

As a good gentleman Pitbull had to give up the first position, so his song Room Service fell with one position and landed on number two. Finally as promised this week the Miami rapper’s new hit is part of GRR HOT 15! Yes, his new hit Shut it down, featuring Akon, is on number 15. Knowing Pitbull he will leave the last position very fast and we will see him up here with Gaga! It will be interesting to see which song you like best – Room service or Shut it down. Vote!

This week Michael Jackson and his song This is it, fell with one position and landed on number three. I wish this song could stay in the chart forever but unfortunately it is impossible. Well, here is an idea! In February, on GRR HOT 15’s one year anniversary, I can give you a list with GRR HOT 15 all time favourites! I can bet Michael Jackson will be there! I need to think of how to do it but there will be a surprise for our anniversary, for sure!

Number four this week are Kokkina Halia and their song Figame. The band climbed with one position and it is getting closer and closer to the TOP 3. Will it get there or will Nevma & Professional Sinnerz fight them off? For now Mine eki pou ise is on number seven after a one position climb but I will not be surprised if next week it storms up high and gets ahead of Figame! Well, vote and make the competition happen!

Britney Spears fell with two positions and her song Three landed on number five. The singer did not manage to conquer the first position and I guess the reason for that is because you were attacked by too many good songs and you couldn’t make your mind who should be number 1. Well, Three is a nice song and it spend a lot of time in the TOP 5, so Britney is leaving as a winner again!

Number six this week is a surprise! Your votes pushed In-Grid and her song Le Dragueur up with five positions! Great song, ha? Yeah, this is why I see her in the TOP 5 next week, competing with Gaga, Pitbull and the Greek charmers! But let me not pretend I am a fortune teller again. Vote and we will see who will compete with whom.

We don’t care by Akon is still going down. This week the song fell with one position and landed on number eight. Akon might be going down with this song but as you know he is the only one who has three songs in the chart! Akon has been a constant presence in GRR HOT 15 for a while with different songs and with different duets. Like I have said before – Akon = success = good music!

One position up and on number nine are Mihalis Hadziyannis and Other View with their song Ise edo. At this point you have many Greek songs to choose from, so take your favourite pick and push it up! After all, this chart is all about your taste in music!

Number ten is a bit of a disappointment but not completely unexpected too! Flo Rida and Nelly Furtado fell with four positions and their song Jump is about to leave the chart. Well, they spent a lot of time with us so now we can wait for Flo Rida’s next hit! Speaking of Flo Rida I was amazed to see that he went to the same university as me! Barry University in Miami, Florida! Well, that was a surprise! I could lie to you and tell you we were best buds but I wouldn’t do that to you. We were there in different years and I never saw him but it is nice to know he went to the same school as me!

The eternal hit Sexy Bitch fell with another two positions this week. But like I have said before David Guetta and Akon cannot complain because even though their song cannot be in charts forever, it will definitely be in our minds for a really long time! Here it goes again...the melody came to my mind...

Number twelve is taken by a cute Greek charmer – Mironas Stratis. His song Pano ap ola climbed with only one position over the week. I hope you will give him a push too because he deserves to be up there with Kokkina Halia and Professional Sinnerz!

The new Greek song from last week Tora by Lava and Katerina Stikoudi climbed with two positions and landed on number 13. On the other hand, two positions down is Celebration by Madonna. Great song but unfortunately it cannot stay in the chart forever, because the way great hits are coming out one after the other we will have to make GRR HOT 1000 in order to keep them all!
