There is a time for everything, and a season for every activity under the heavens, says one of the biblical texts. Evidence of the eternity and truth of these words is everywhere around us. We are closely associated with the passage of time and I guess that everyone has noticed that there are times when his or her sexual desire is dull, decreases and he or she does not meet interesting people who can awaken it. But there are times when we seem to wake up sexually, become very active and meet attractive people literally everywhere, or encounter the great love and the most important people in our intimate world.

Today's article is on how our libido and desire (and ability) for an active or poorer sex life changes. Although we have a certain sexual nature, i.e. temperament, desires and attitudes, it is not constant at all times. Our sexual appetite and needs have a certain rhythm. Sometimes, they are just "average", or decrease significantly, while at other times they increase dramatically. There are periods when the chemical composition of the blood and hormone levels in it change and our body is ready for creation. And it is precisely during such periods that we are most active sexually. The clock on the wall reflects everyday life’s astronomical time, while the course of the planets in the solar system reflects the moment of birth. Therefore, our personal horoscope reflects the rhythm of our own time on Earth.

Libido is closely related to the creative side of man and creative processes. Therefore, when the time has come for us to create, we see potential partners and our sexual desire increases, so that we can utilize the greater creative energy. Ultimately, the very first purpose of sexual relations is reproduction and procreation.

I must say that human creativity is not only limited to the creation of children. At certain times, when activated, our creative energy can create other things, too, for example, a literary masterpiece, a novel or a picture if we are artists. Or we can start a business project. At such times, however, sexually appropriate partners for us always appear - the "muse" that inspires us. Our libido is also rising. These are also periods in which we can experience unrequited or unfulfilled love or difficulties with our partner. But the greatest artistic masterpieces, creation and performance in the profession, career and society are achieved precisely at such times.

In astrology, Jupiter is the planet of creativity, extension, improvement and the opportunities that we get. Our financial and social status, creative excellence and offspring are directly related to Jupiter. When Jupiter "takes a look" at our sexual life, it brings freshness and awakens it for new feats and conquests. I would like to reiterate, however, that Jupiter, as a celestial body, has no effect. This planet (like all the other planets) is like the small hand on the clock – the hand itself does not affect our lives, but it orients us in time.

According to Jupiter’s movement, we can understand that the time has come for us to experience some changes related to our creativity and sexuality; it gives us information whether there will be a change in the rhythm of our libido. In the personal horoscope, the eighth house is related to our sexual life and in particular with our temperament and libido. Changes that cause a rise or fall in our sexual desire are measured by the course of Jupiter.

In this process, however, we cannot omit Saturn’s course, which marks the actual realisation of an event. Therefore, at certain times we experience unrequited or impossible love. But the energy infused by Jupiter is not lost. It is simply not realised in love and children, but directed by Saturn in other areas of life. While we suffer because of our unrequited love, it often turns out that we have created the best book, the most beautiful picture, we have earned more money because of our professional performance or we have been promoted at work, etc.

Jupiter indicates the time when our sexual (creative) energy increases and Saturn indicates in what respect we will realise it. But it is a fact that whenever we experience such awakening, someone with whom to fall in love appears.

The real effect is visible a year later. When we talk about purely physical body processes, we always take into account the sign of the Ascendant and the so-called house grid. Please, keep in mind that in the years I have written, the "gaze" of Jupiter can start in the middle of the year.
