An unusually low ebb tide has been witnessed by Nafplio locals in the past few days. After the sea waters receded, a huge sandy beach, typically lying under water, sprawled in front of their eyes.

The natural phenomenon has miraculously transformed the coastal road between Nafplio and Neas Kios.

Local residents claim that in early December they witnessed a similar ebb, but now the dried area is strikingly spacious.
