Vegetable growers and sellers in markets protested outside Parliament. The procession started from Kaningos square.
A six-member representation met representatives of parties in Parliament to inform them about their attitude to the bill of the Ministry of Development, which affects the agricultural sector.
Parts of the bill, which cause disagreement, are the following:

- A decision of each municipality will set the maximum number of selling spaces.
- Spatial separation among producers and traders is envisaged and two separate parts in markets will be formed.
- Criminal penalties will become more severe.
Protests of vegetable producers and sellers will continue on Saturday, with food distribution in Perissos, on Salaminos Street, as well as in another 10 locations, which have not yet been announced.
