The game of the 15^th round of A1 between the men teams in water polo of Panionios and PAOK played in the swimming pool of Nea Smyrni in Athens ended with a final score of 7:4. The hosts were very motivated in the game and since the very beginning they made an attempt to convince the opponent that literary and metaphorically that they are the masters of the evening. The biggest contribution for the victory of Panionios had the player Papadongonas. The team was organizing strong attacks preceded by a good play with the ball. In this way the first eight minutes ended with a score of 2:0 for the hosts. The unsuccessful beginning of the game was like a cold shower for the team of PAOK which during the next eight minutes found the courage to attack the goal post of the opponents’ team and managed to score two goals and pulled the score in its favor by finishing the series with 2:1 in favor of PAOK. During the third and fourth series however the hosts strengthened their attacks again and along with this they managed to strengthen also their defense and so the series ended with a final score respectively of 3:2 and 1:0 in favor of them. The victory in the Nea Smyrni swimming pool is the third victory of Panionios over PAOK. The two teams met last week in Thessaloniki where the guests won by 10:9, which placed the team of Panionios in the second position in number of points (after the team of Olympiakos). Its victory over PAOK comes after the fatal loss by 714 from the team of Vasas in a game of the 16^th round of the Euro league which was played in Budapest last Saturday.
