This week I have a surprise for my foreign readers. Depending on whether you believe me or not, this surprise can change your outlook and hopefully put a smile on your face. Well so let me cut to the chase. On Sunday, December 20, Bulgarians celebrate Ignajden (Ignatius’ Feast). Ignatius of Antioch was among the Apostolic Fathers and possibly a student of John the Apostle. So in Bulgaria there is a belief that whatever happens on this day, it will continue throughout the following year. So I can tell you one thing – make sure you have fun on Sunday and hopefully if you receive good news, they will open the door for some more during 2010. With wishes to spend a great Ignajden, I will tell you about this week’s GRR HOT 15 and hopefully add some melody to your Sunday!

One position up and on first place is Mironas Stratis with his hit song Pano ap ola. The song did not take too long climbing from the bottom of the chart and reaching the top, which is great success for the Greek charmer! I hope he will fight for his position so he can stay there longer!

Here comes number two! And this week this is Pitbull with Shut it down! The hit climbed with four positions and quickly took over the TOP 3. Three positions down and on number six is Pitbull’s other song in the chart – Room Service. Incredible songs by an incredible performer! I wonder, when is Pitbull coming back to Greece?

One position up and on number three is Le Dragueur by In-Grid. The song has been floating up and down in the TOP 5 but until now has not reached the first position. Vote and help In-Grid become GRR HOT 15 number one!

Nevma & Professional Sinnerz are getting close and closer to the TOP 3 and this week they did it with one position jump, which placed their song on number four. Now we will have a Greek “fight” for the top positions. Will Pano ap ola defend its position or will Mine eki pou ise kick it out of the top of the chart? Well, it depends on you – vote!

Lady Gaga went through a break down in the chart and fell with four positions to number five. Her song Bad Romance was number one for three consecutive weeks, so I guess it was time for her to give the leading position to someone else. But we never know…she might come back with this song or even better – surprise us with a new one! On the other hand Video Phone, performed by Lady Gaga and Beyonce, jumped with three positions and is now on number seven!

Number eight this week is Tora. Lava and Katerina Stikoudi managed to climb with only one position throughout the week. They are going up slowly and I wonder if they will be able to successfully fight against leaders like Stratis, Pitbull and Lady Gaga…

Four position up and on number nine are Jay Z and Alicia Keys with their incredible hit Empire State of Mind! I am glad the hit is going up in the chart so fast because since the first time I heard it, it sunk deep in my heart. And I guess this is true for all New York lovers! While watching the video clip I actually remembered how much I miss the Big Apple!

Sexy Bitch is going up again but in a slower rhythm. David Guetta and Akon climbed with one position, which placed them on number ten.

On number eleven come the Bulgarian diva Maria Ilieva and Keith Thompson. Their song Truly jumped up with three positions only for one week! GRR HOT 15 did not include a Bulgarian song for a while but now that we did, this means the hit is a hit!

Four positions down is Ise edo by Mihalis Hadziyannis and Other View. The song is currently on number 12 and unless it receives your votes it is doomed to leave the chart next week. So, if you like it – vote!

Number thirteen is Morandi with his dazzling hit Colors. The song entered the chart last week and until now it climbed only with two positions. I expected a better result so I will wait to see where the song will go next week…

The new song this week is by Kokkina Halia and it is called I agapi theli hrono. The band is becoming more and more successful by releasing hit after hit! So enjoy!

Number 15 this week is Michael Jackson with his hit This is it. The song might leave the chart next week but it will never leave our hearts, just like Michael never will!
