His name had appeared also in connection with the scandal involving the Athens exchange in the late 1990s and in relation to the non-payment of earned wages to the employees of the factories.
Businessman Theodoros Margielos or Doris is also mentioned as an account holder. What is interesting in his case is that he is in friendly relations with the Papandreou family.
Meanwhile, the housewives, who are the largest number on this list, refuse to talk. Just one of them has made a statement - the daughter of a shipowner, but she did not want her name to be revealed. She claims that her father has deposited the money in the account and that the taxes on all money that is still in the HSBC bank have been paid.
