A 33-year-old Bulgarian woman was stabbed to death in Thessaloniki. The woman's body was discovered by her own husband in the apartment where they lived on Promitheous Street in the centre of Thessaloniki. The tragedy took place on Friday evening when her husband and a friend of his came home from work. The woman had suffered multiple stab wounds around her neck.

According to the official press release of the police, a major police action is currently underway in order to search for the perpetrator.
