The corpse of a 43-year-old Bulgarian was found sprawling on a street in the Athens suburb of Vari. According to the Greek police bulletin, at 8.20 a.m. on Friday, May Day, a patrol car found the victim lying on the asphalt at 24 Athanasios Dyakos street in Vari. Sharp object injuries were visible on her body.
Eyewitnesses claim that the blows had been inflicted by a man with whom the victim lived. There had been a noisy row between the two just before the crime.
The Greek police are searching for the offender.
