On 25 September, police arrested a 71-year-old Bulgarian woman on the island of Kos. She was charged for the reception of drugs for further distribution.

In the course of the ongoing criminal investigation, the woman was caught while carrying a package she had just received a from a courier company on the island of Kos. The package contained 60 doses of heroin with a total weight of 21.75 grams.

The police subsequently searched the woman's living quarters. In the presence of a court representative, they found and seized:

-small quantities of heroin,

-scraps of paper with notes with different bills and phones,

-the sum of €245,

-a savings book.

The arrested woman was taken to the Kos prosecution office.
