82% of Greeks want their country to remain in the eurozone, and only 14% believe that a return to the drachma will improve the economic situation of Greece. 4% of respondents refused to answer. These are the results of an early April opinion poll carried out by Metron Analysis.

According to the poll, the lead of the ruling SYRIZA on the opposition New Democracy is 20%. Asked who they would vote for if the elections were now, 38.1% said they would support SYRIZA, 17.4% - New Democracy, 6.3% - the Potami party of journalist Stavros Theodorakis, 4.6% - Golden dawn, 4.2% - the Communist Party of Greece, 3.6% - PASOK, and 3.2% - the government coalition partner, the Independent Greeks. The Movement of Socialist Democrats of former Prime Minister Georgios Papandreou remains below the 3% barrier.

Support for Prime Minister Alexis Tsipras also remains very high - 52%, while the opposition leader Antonis Samaras receives only 16%.
