Last summer, an uninhabited Greek island was turned into a film set for a reality show entitled, Adam Looking For Eve. According to sources of lifo.gr, the filming sessions were conducted on an islet between the island of Limnos and the Turkish coast, with funding from Finnish and Danish TV channels.

The show’s airing is forthcoming. In March this year, it was aired for the first time by the Dutch RTLS under the title “Adam Zkt Eve” and was a runaway success with audiences. The Dutch version was shot on an exotic Panamanian island. On 21st of October, a reality show entitled Adam y Eva started airing in Spain.

The basic plot of the show is as follows: a man or woman arrives at an uninhabited, isolated island on a raft. While approaching the shore, he/she undresses full Monty, then jumps into the sea and swims while the camera follows the swim from high above. Sometime later, another man/woman emerges, also in the buff, and the flirting match starts. Participants are supposed to spend the first night making a cabin to settle in, catching fish and cooking dinner with whatever comes handy.

They have to be completely naked throughout the show, with cameras shying away from their genitalia. The show’s ad says this is "looking for love in the most innocent way".

Even though the show does not contain sex scenes, it is rather suggestive. Its authors are aiming to focus on romance between participants, with no shortage of humour. In one of the trailers, a young female participant owns up to the fact she couldn't resist looking towards her partner’s penis despite her initial intention to abstain from it.

One or several more persons appear on the second day on the island, and try to steal the attention of the main character. He/she should decide who is to be sent out of the game. The show will end with the fourth episode, featuring a meeting at a luxury hotel. As the trailer points out, while in most love affairs the couples are fully dressed at the beginning and only undress eventually, what happens here is just the opposite.

The lifo.gr publication reports that the woman, chosen by ‘Adam’ to be his ‘Eve’ on the Greek island set, rejected him and failed to accompany him to the hotel.

The international production chose Greece as the show’s venue for its sun, sea, beautiful uninhabited islands, and indeed for its proximity to the participants’ countries. Cheaper fares can ease the way of even the most innocent love.
