"Nikos Karvelas hasn’t been made for format for shows such as Greek Idol," says singer Anna Vissi regarding her ex-husband, composer and performer in an interview for the TV broadcast LifeStyle. The Greek singer, known for her looks and talent, speaks about her love life, lost friends and future plans. Vissi denied the rumors that the former spouses are grilled and are not talking anymore by saying: "I do not want to divide the periods in my career as a "before" and "after" Karvelas. If I say this then it would mean that our joint work has been completed, and I do not think that this moment has come." Vissi explains that she has worked exclusively with her former husband for years and now it is time for her to do something "different". However, she strongly emphasizes that in the future they will work again on common projects.
To the question of whether she has lived her biggest love Anna Vissi admits she easily falls in love, but "absolute and unconditional love” she has experienced twice. Without specifying names, it is clear that one of these great loves is Karvelas, from who she has one daughter Sofia. Regarding her second big love, we can only wonder. Regarding her intimate life the talented singer says she has fallen in love quickly and passionately, not once. "If they ask me why I fell in love with such passion, I cannot answer logically. But this is what is good about love: it comes, hits you on the head, and after some years you ask yourself: "What exactly did I do with this gentleman?!" Vissi admits that in the past people have taken advantage of her loving character: "the moment, in which I know that someone is clear to me - I'm not stupid," says the singer and continues: "but for some strange reason I never did anything about it. I was just letting myself fallow the stream, maybe I even liked it. There's something masochistic in love. "Over the years Anna Vissi’s name is connected with various personalities from the secular and political life of Greece like the musician Lambis Livieratos, male model and later fashion photographer Spiros Poros, Greek national soccer team player Todoris Zagorakis and last but not least the 26-year-old businessman Harris Fragolias with whom she has a relationship for three years.
Anna Vissi also talked about the death of her personal friend Andy Hadzhikostis: "It seems as if he is not dead. Andy and I are connected by many years of wonderful friendship. He was like a younger brother to me. I can still not believe that something like this has happened and in such a horrible way.”
