Hackers from the Anonymous group “hit” a number of Greek government sites on Monday. The websites of the Ministry of Civil Order, the police and the judiciary were among the targets of the anonymous hackers. All these pages were blocked on Monday evening for a short while and the message "Page cannot be found" appeared upon entering the site.

Later the same day, Anonymous claimed responsibility for the sabotage of the websites. They uploaded on youtube a video manifest, which compares the Greek government with the Greek Junta of the last century. "Challenging your people by inviting Merkel right now is collaboration when the Greeks survive on the brink of destitution. You should be ashamed," Anonymous turn to the Greek government.
