Greek antiterrorist forces captured six members of Conspiracy of Fire Nuclei, whom they had been searching for, a few months already. According to the investigating authorities, some of the persons captured took part in both the attempted bank robbery in Velvendo in northern Greece and the bombing of the shopping centre "The Mall of Athens". A little later, one of them was released.
The six persons were arrested at a house and a cafeteria, which are located on Dekelias Avenue in the Athens suburb of Nea Philadelphia.
Two of them are anarchists for whom arrest warrants have been issued in connection with their involvement in the bank robbery in the village of Philotas near Florina in November last year.
One of the detainees had already met the police authorities in the past. It is not yet clear whether the other two persons were involved in previous attacks.
