Independent Greeks’ leader decided to attend their protest against the new austerity measures and incurred the wrath of many of them.

The specific journalists were appointed for special reasons and with special labour contracts. The majority of them are candidates for parliament, who failed during the elections and political parties are eager to provide them with a state salary.

A research by the Economic Chamber of Greece shows that those professions that are best represented in parliament conceal income the most, the champions are physicians followed by engineers, teachers, accountants and lawyers.

Sources say that creditors required the saving of 9.5 out of 11.5 billion euro to be implemented by cutting salaries, pensions and benefits.

In 2009, they accounted for 8.9% of the total foreign investment; currently down to 7.7%. The National Bank of Greece withdrew 145 million euro from its leasing company in Bulgaria and Cosmote withdrew 64 million euro.
