Earthquake rocked Athens at dawn

The epicentre was 22 km east of the Greek capital and the quake was 4.4 on the Richter scale, seismologists are confident that this was a major quake and do not expect a new, stronger one.

Two Greek storm chasers died in Oklahoma

Tim Samaras, aged 55, and his son Paul, aged 24, became victims of the natural phenomenon in El Reno in the outskirts of Oklahoma City. Tim was a renowned explorer of extreme natural phenomena and one of the most famous "storm chasers." He founded the Twistex research centre (Tactical Weather Instrumented Sampling in / near Tornadoes EXperiment), which specializes in the study of tornadoes.


After "The Hangover III", Zack Galifianakis will shoot a war epic film about Crete

The actor, who has become well known for his participation in the Hollywood trilogy “The Hangover”, is expected to soon arrive in Greece. Galifianakis is going to shoot a film about the battle of Crete during World War II.
