The British Daily Mail published photos of a rare public appearance of Athena Onassis. The 28-year-old heiress to the rich Greek family, who recently sold the family island of Skorpios to Russian billionaire Dmitry Ribolyovlev, appeared as a bridesmaid at the wedding of her stepsister.

The bride Sandrine is daughter of Athena's father Thierry Roussel and his second wife, Marianne Landhage.

Athina Onassis appeared in the company of her husband Álvaro de Miranda Neto otherwise affectionately known as Doda. Despite the rainy weather, she was obviously in a good mood and looked gorgeous in her beautiful pale pink silk dress.

Sandrine’s wedding took place in the small French village of Villeny near Bonville mansion owned by Thierry Roussel, in the same church where he married his wife Marianne.

The newlyweds left the church in an exquisite Rolls Royce.

Athena Onassis was received with due attention at the wedding, since she usually prefers to lead a quiet life in the Brazilian city of Sao Paulo and rarely attends public events.
