Our two latest polls before the one that was completed today were focused on the election-winning SYRIZA party and the formation of the new Greek coalition government. Meanwhile, the other leading party, New Democracy, has launched a procedure to elect a new party chairman. Therefore, it was logical to focus on it. The party is in search of its 'anti-Tsipras' leader, as noted by analysts, who will improve communication with young people in the country and among women. In this connection, we asked, "Who do you consider most appropriate for chairman of New Democracy?" The diverse votes in the three language versions show that there is no clear favourite for the time being to take over the party leadership.
To start the analysis of the poll with the Greek page of GRReporter, as it has provoked strong activity on the part of its readers. Adonis Georgiadis is the preference of the highest number of respondents with 33% of the readers' votes. Apostolos Tzitzikostas ranks immediately after him with 23% of readers' confidence. It is interesting to note that the option "none of them" ranks third in our poll with the same percentage of votes. 23% of readers of the Greek page still have no contender whom they can indicate as the leader of New Democracy. 14% voted confidence in current party chairman Vangelis Meimarakis and 7% approve Kyriakos Mitsotakis.
The readers' votes on the Bulgarian page of our website differ from those of the Greek page. The preferred option by our readers is that none of these candidates will be the future leader of New Democracy. Current party leader Vangelis Meimarakis ranks second with 21% of the vote. Adonis Georgiadis is third with 17%. Kyriakos Mitsotakis receives 15% whereas Apostolos Tzitzikostas the lowest number of votes from our Bulgarian readers or 9% of the votes.
The English page of GRReporter shows the greatest distrust in the proposed candidates. 45% of our readers are of the opinion that none of the candidates will be the next leader of New Democracy. 21% support Adonis Georgiadis. Apostolos Tzitzikostas receives 13% of the readers' votes whereas Vangelis Meimarakis and Kyriakos Mitsotakis 11% respectively.
The results clearly show that the battle for leadership of New Democracy has many unknowns.
Our most recent poll is turning your attention to a problem seemingly related to culture and tourism. Greece is preparing to increase the prices for museums and archaeological sites. In this regard, our question is, "Will this prevent the interest in them?" Do not forget to give grounds for your vote in the comments section below the poll.
